CHONGQING MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Chongqing Medical University (CQMU), formerly known as Chongqing Medical College, originated in 1956 when it was partially relocated from Shanghai First Medical College, now part of Fudan University. Over 60 years, it has evolved into a government-supported medical institution backed by the Ministry of Education, National Health Commission, and Chongqing Municipal Government. CQMU actively participates in the Initiative of Pilot Universities of International Cooperation in Chongqing.

Note: Student Must have Minimum 60% Marks in FSC (Pre-Medical)/A-Levels. Student must be under the age of 25 for Bachelor Degree. Interview will be conducted by NXMU university officials, after successful interview university will issue Provisional Admission Letter.

Important Notes
- Hostel fee mentioned above is standard hostel fee. If student would like to change the type of accommodation he/she will need to pay charges according to fee schedule. First semester hostel fee depends upon remaining days in semester.
- Upon receiving the pre-admission letter, student must promptly remit the management and admission charges to regional admission office and must pay the tuition fee to university bank account.
- The fee charges doesn’t cover the expenses of expenses of books stationary, dorm deposit fee, air ticket or any other personal charges.
- All charges paid are non-refundable.
- Student must abide by all Chinese laws and university rules and regulations.

Moreover, the university oversees over 30 teaching hospitals and indirectly manages nine affiliated hospitals. Currently, three additional affiliated hospitals are undergoing construction.
